As Marketing Manager for Raffles College of Design and Commerce, I am writing this letter of recommendation for Sophie Blue of Blue Planet Public Relations.

I met Sophie Blue at an exhibition in 2013. Immediately, I was impressed by her professionalism and expertise across a broad range of industries. We began working together a few months later. Our first major project was the 2013 Raffles Graduate Exhibition. Sophie and her team hit the ground running, bringing in her industry connections to secure sponsorships valued at over $34,000.

In the years that followed, Blue Planet PR and Raffles College worked together on numerous projects including Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia, Into View Photography Exhibition, Parramatta Lanes Festival, Raffles Graduate Exhibition, Raffles Graduate Fashion Show and Oz Comic-Con.

For major events, Sophie and her team worked collaboratively with the Raffles marketing team to develop the event public relations plan, communication plan, design collateral, secure sponsorship, liaise with industry bodies and secure high profile attendees, manage media enquiries and interviews, secure editorials and news articles. Sophie would always ensure meticulous execution of all activities.

While working on large-scale events, Blue Planet PR also assisted in launching the personal profiles of several Raffles students. Sophie personally went above and beyond to ensure our students were always recognised for their hard work and innovative ideas. Several our students were featured in Vogue Australia, the TODAY Show (Channel 9), The Daily Telegraph and many other outlets.

Since Raffles has started working Blue Planet PR, we have seen an increase in enrolments for fashion courses increase by 47%, with Fashion Marketing now taking the lead as our fasted growing course. A position that would not be achievable without the help of Sophie and her team.

All staff members at Raffles College recognised Sophie for her professionalism, organisational skills, knowledge and positive attitude towards all employees and projects. Personally, Sophie is an individual with integrity who I will continue to work with for many years to come.
