The Brief:

To make the inaugural Canberra Writers Festival a true best-seller by raising national awareness of the event and the visiting talent.

The Strategy:

We used the Festival’s key PR strength – the amazingly talented authors and their own communication networks – to woo a wide range of media. On-the-ground, we ran an organized and proactive press office, ensuring all social media activity was current and constant.

The Result:

Sell-out sessions, rave reviews, trending on Twitter and a new three year funding commitment from the ACT Labor Government.
